How to Use the Linkwarden MCP in Windsurf
Stop losing bookmarks. Let Windsurf organize your web archives and collections using this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Linkwarden MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Linkwarden to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Full Bookmark Control in Windsurf
Cascade can now fetch, create, and update your links without you ever leaving the editor. Use `create_link` to save your current research tab directly into your organized archives. Updating your library is just as fast. Cascade uses `bulk_update_links` to re-tag or move items across your collections in one go.
Automated Archiving for Windsurf
Don't worry about link rot again. When you trigger `archive_link`, the server captures the current page state, ensuring you have a permanent copy stored safely. If you have local files, `upload_standalone_archive` pushes those assets straight into your repository. It keeps your research static and accessible, regardless of what happens to the original URL.
Smart Collection Management
Organize your chaos with `create_collection` and `list_collections`. Your agent reads your existing structure and suggests where new bookmarks belong based on your history. Need to clean up? Use `delete_collection` or `update_collection` to keep your workspace tidy. It handles the backend heavy lifting while you focus on your code.
