How to Use the Medium MCP in Cursor
Code and write in one flow. Use the Medium MCP Server to publish your technical docs straight from Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Medium MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Medium to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Publish code tutorials with Cursor
Turn your active code snippets into a polished post. Call `create_post` to send your current context directly to your Medium account. This is the fastest way to share what you just built. Your agent handles the API calls while you keep typing in your editor.
List publications inside Cursor
Don't break your focus to check your dashboard. Run `list_publications` to see exactly which publication you should target for your latest article. It maps your existing account structure into your editor. You get the right context without opening a single browser tab.
Verify publication contributors
Need to check who has access to a shared publication? The `list_contributors` tool fetches that list for you immediately. It keeps your team's publishing process transparent. You'll know exactly who is working on the same publication from within the editor.
