How to Use the Memberstack MCP in Cursor
Generate code that uses live Memberstack data inside Cursor Agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Memberstack MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Memberstack to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write Memberstack auth logic using real payloads in Cursor
Stop writing code against fake JSON stubs. When you ask the Cursor Agent to build a custom billing dashboard, it calls `get_member` and `list_plans` to see the actual shape of your Memberstack user data. This means the Cursor editor writes TypeScript interfaces that match your live Memberstack setup exactly, preventing runtime crashes caused by mismatched custom field keys.
Debug Cursor billing gates with the MCP Server
If a user is locked out of a feature, let Cursor inspect their active Memberstack subscriptions. The editor uses `get_member_plans` to pull the exact membership array, helping you trace why your middleware rejected their token. Instead of guessing how the API responds, the Cursor Agent uses this MCP Server to compare your local database schema with the actual Memberstack plan metadata returned by `get_plan`.
Map Memberstack custom fields to your Cursor components
Building a profile edit form requires knowing your exact database schema. Cursor calls `list_custom_fields` to fetch your Memberstack custom metadata structure and automatically generates the corresponding React form inputs. The Cursor agent writes clean, typed code that maps directly to your Memberstack dashboard settings, saving you from manual copy-pasting.
