Generate mock code files in Cursor
`generate_mock_data` feeds realistic datasets directly into the files you are editing in Cursor. Your agent writes the code and populates the test fixtures simultaneously, using real API responses instead of static stubs. You do not need to switch back and forth between your browser and editor. The MCP Server hooks directly into Cursor's agent loop to insert custom payloads right where your cursor is flashing.
Pull production-like schemas into your workspace
`generate_from_schema` retrieves mock records based on the schemas saved in your Mockaroo account. Your agent reads your local database models, maps them to your online schemas, and fills your test directories. By using the MCP to run `list_schemas` first, the agent knows exactly what templates are available. This prevents schema mismatch bugs before you even run your test suite.
Map database fields using live type lists
`list_field_types` provides a real-time dictionary of Mockaroo's generation capabilities directly to Cursor. Your agent uses this to match your TypeScript interfaces or database migrations to valid mock generators. If you use custom lookup tables, `list_datasets` lets the agent find and reference them. This ensures your generated relational data maintains strict referential integrity.
