Connect Novu MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Novu to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Execute end-to-end notification tasks with Cline
Cline can take a request like 'notify users when a build fails' and execute `create_workflow` followed by `trigger_event` on its own. It writes the necessary code to integrate these actions into your existing pipeline. You don't have to monitor the progress. Cline confirms the action by listing the result of the `trigger_event` call, ensuring the message was sent correctly.
Sync subscriber preferences in Cline
Use Cline to query and update user settings with `get_subscriber_preferences` and `update_subscriber_preference`. This allows the agent to handle customer support requests regarding notification settings automatically. If a user wants to opt out, Cline can run `delete_subscriber_credentials` or update their profile via `update_subscriber` without requiring you to open the dashboard.
Manage integrations directly via Cline
Cline can list and update your notification providers using `list_active_integrations` and `set_primary_integration`. It makes swapping email or SMS providers a single-prompt task. When you need to rotate keys or update environment settings, use `update_environment_variable` to keep your infrastructure secure. Cline applies these changes across your environment effortlessly.
