Connect NPM Registry MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect NPM Registry to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates dependency lookups
Give Cline a task to update your dependencies and it starts by calling `get_package`. It inspects the response to see if a newer version exists. It doesn't just read the data. Cline uses the info to write the correct version strings into your package.json file automatically.
Deep version inspection for Cline
When you need to verify an integrity hash, Cline calls `get_package_version`. It pulls the exact manifest for the version you specify. This lets you confirm you are installing the right code. Cline compares the metadata against your requirements before it finishes the task.
Advanced searching with Cline
Use the `search_packages` tool to find libraries that match your strict criteria. Cline filters by author, keywords, or stability tags. It saves you from manually browsing registry pages. Cline finds the matches, reads the details, and presents the best options for your implementation.
