Connect Nuvei MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nuvei to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Autonomous Payment Execution
Tell Cline to process a charge, and it uses `create_payment` to hit the gateway. It handles the API handshake so you don't have to write the boilerplate. If the payment requires capture, the agent calls `capture_payment` immediately. It ensures your logic runs end-to-end.

Cline manages card tokens by calling `create_card_token` during your checkout flow. It keeps the vault current by using `update_token` whenever you need to modify metadata. When a user churns, the agent uses `delete_token` to clear the record. It prevents stale data from cluttering your system.

Use Cline to fetch your records with `get_transactions`. It lists your history and maps specific IDs to your local order database. If you need to fix a charge, it triggers `refund_payment` or `void_payment` based on the current status. It handles the edge cases for you.
Set up Nuvei MCP in Cline

Open Cline MCP settings
Click the Cline icon in the VS Code sidebar to open the Cline panel. Then click the MCP Servers icon (server stack) at the top-right corner of the panel.

Add a remote server
Click "Remote Servers" at the top, then click "Add Remote MCP". In the Name field, type
nuvei-mcp. In the URL field, paste your Vinkius endpoint:https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp. Get your token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Enable the server
After saving, the server appears in the Cline MCP panel. Toggle the switch to enable it. The status indicator turns green when the connection is live.

Return to the Cline chat and ask: "Check my latest Nuvei refund status." Cline will discover the available tools and request your approval before invoking each one — giving you full control over every action.
