How to Use the NVIDIA Vision MCP in Cursor
Build code in Cursor using real visual analysis and image generation from NVIDIA Vision models.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect NVIDIA Vision MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect NVIDIA Vision to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate production-ready code in Cursor
The `list_vision_models` tool queries the NVIDIA API Catalog to return the exact vision models currently available. When you write code in Cursor, your agent calls this MCP tool to inject real model lists straight into your active script. This eliminates the need for hardcoded model endpoints or mock data. You write your application logic using the actual, live API schema returned by the server.
Analyze UI layouts and elements
The `image_segmentation` tool identifies and segments every distinct object within an image. Cursor uses this tool to analyze screenshots of your front-end code, checking if layout elements render in their correct positions. By combining this with `visual_grounding`, your agent writes layout fixes based on actual coordinate data. You get precise code modifications instead of visual guesswork.
Process scanned mockups with MCP Server tools
The `document_qa` tool performs OCR and deep semantic understanding on scanned documents, forms, and receipts. In Cursor, you can pass an image of a paper form directly to your agent. The agent reads the fields, maps the data structure, and writes the corresponding JSON parsers or database schemas for you. It speeds up the transition from physical paper to structured code.
