Execute multi-search in scripts with MCP Server

The `execute_multi_search` tool takes a JSON array of search requests. You pipe this into a script, and it executes all the searches in one API call. The output is ready to be processed by subsequent shell commands. This mechanism makes it easy to write cron jobs that need to validate data across multiple search parameters quickly.

Check cluster health for CI/CD with MCP Server

Run `get_cluster_health` to confirm the operational status of your Typesense Cloud cluster. This is a necessary first step in any automated pipeline that relies on search data. If your GitHub Action needs to validate the target environment before querying, this tool provides the simple exit code you need.

List collections for pipeline setup with MCP Server

Use `list_collections` in your script to get a definitive list of all search indexes. This output can then be fed into another utility that provisions necessary environment variables. Before deploying any service, you need to confirm which data sources exist; this tool provides the authoritative source list.

Common questions about Typesense Cloud MCP in Claude Code

Pass a JSON array of search requests using `execute_multi_search`. You can pipe the results directly into other utilities for immediate processing within your shell script.
Yes. The `get_cluster_metrics` tool fetches usage data, allowing you to build scripts that account for resource limits or required scaling checks in a pipeline.
Simply run `list_collections`. This command outputs all available search collection names, which you can then capture into a variable or file for downstream processing in your DevOps workflow.
You should call `get_cluster_health` first. It confirms the cluster is operational before any other commands run, making your pipeline much more robust.
This server exposes API keys, collection names, cluster metrics, and search results. These structured outputs make them perfect for scripting, logging, and CI/CD artifact generation.
