Connect UtilityAPI MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect UtilityAPI to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate full energy usage analysis with the MCP Server.
Windsurf's Cascade agent can pull a customer's complete picture—both financial and technical. It runs `get_meter_data` on a given meter UID, pulling combined bill history and granular interval data in one go. You set the goal (e.g., 'Find peak usage'), and Cascade handles the API calls.
Manage customer utility access flows.
Need to onboard a new client? Use `create_auth_form` first; this returns a form UID you redirect customers to. Once they authorize, cascade monitors the status via `get_events`. This ensures your system only tries to pull data once authorization is complete.
Analyze entire utility portfolios.
You can list all meters using `list_meters`, then loop through those UIDs. For each meter, cascade calls `get_intervals` to get time-series readings and also uses `list_utilities` to confirm the correct provider code. It lets you scale up analysis across hundreds of service points.
