…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect VesselAPI MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect VesselAPI to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Search Ship Details
The `get_vessel_details` tool lets you pull all key specifications for a vessel given its IMO number. You can write and debug functions that instantly use this live data as context. When working on complex models, using the real output from `search_vessels` means your generated code runs against current facts, not placeholder stubs.
Track Live Positions
Injecting live coordinates is easy with `get_vessel_position`. Your agent mode can call this tool and write the resulting JSON directly into a variable in your code. This capability makes writing real-time tracking scripts simple. You don't need to switch contexts; the data feeds right into your active coding session.
Build Itineraries
Write itinerary logic using `get_vessel_schedules`. This tool gives you upcoming port calls, allowing you to build complex state machines in your code base. Need a baseline? Combine this with `list_maritime_ports` to ensure the ports listed in the schedules actually exist and are valid for your project scope.
