Update Inventory in Code with MCP Server
Writing a script that adjusts stock levels? Use `update_stock_quantity` to change inventory. You only need the item ID and the new total number, and the agent writes the function call for you. This makes testing super fast. The AI generates working code that calls this tool with real product IDs, so you can see exactly what happens before committing anything.
Query Products for Scripts in Cursor
Need to build a script around specific items? `query_products` returns the product IDs, names, and prices. The agent uses this live data response to write loops or conditional logic directly into your file. It's not mock data; it’s actual market context that gets injected right where your cursor is blinking.
List Store Orders for Analysis in Cursor
When building an order management script, you need current sales records. The `list_store_orders` tool pulls down recent eCommerce orders into the code context. This means your AI client can write functions that process a batch of live order data, making your scripts far more useful right out of the gate.
