How to Use the Workable MCP in Cursor
Stop context switching. Workable data flows directly into your code when using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Workable MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Workable to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Use candidate data in your writing
Need to write a script that targets specific candidates? Your AI agent can call `get_candidate_profile` and inject the real name, skills, or job history directly into the code you're drafting. No more mock stubs. You get live context without ever leaving Cursor. It makes writing specialized data handlers way faster.
Track all active jobs in your codebase
To build a job listing dashboard, start by getting the list of open roles using `list_jobs`. The agent calls this tool and uses the returned Job IDs to structure your output code. This is perfect for creating endpoints that need to query specific roles. You're writing functional code that relies on the real API response from Workable.
Manage team membership in Cursor
If you’re building internal tools, you might need to know who is on the hiring committee. The `list_account_members` tool pulls that data so your agent can build out permission checks or user directories. It's all about generating code that works with actual API responses—you don't want mock data when dealing with real team structures.
