How to Use the Worksection MCP in Cursor
Live API context for your code. Worksection MCP Server in Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Worksection MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Worksection to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject project metadata into your codebase.
Stop guessing data points. Your agent can call `get_project_details` and inject the live output directly into the function you're writing. This gives you real-time context, not mock stubs. Write code that uses actual project names or IDs pulled straight from Worksection via Cursor.
Manage tasks programmatically.
Need to script task creation? Use `create_task` in your code. The agent handles the API call and feeds you a working record that you can use immediately. You don't have to switch context. It makes writing boilerplate for project management ridiculously fast.
Handle user listings for authentication logic.
When building auth checks, your code needs to know who's logged in. Use `list_all_users` and the live data Cursor provides. This lets you write robust functions that handle company-wide user lists. It’s about using real API responses right where your cursor is pointing.
