You can use the predict_hydrate_equilibrium capability to find the hydrate formation temperature and pressure for your specific gas composition. If your operating conditions fall within the stability region, hydrates are likely to form.

Can I calculate how much methanol I need to add?
Yes, the calculate_thermodynamic_inhibition capability calculates the required dosage of methanol or MEG needed to shift the equilibrium temperature safely below your operating temperature.

What is the difference between thermodynamic and kinetic inhibition?
Thermodynamic inhibition shifts the equilibrium curve using chemicals like methanol. Kinetic inhibition uses LDHIs to delay crystal growth. You can use evaluate_kinetic_inhibition to see if kinetic methods are viable for your specific residence time and subcooling.
