Your AI does the work. We keep it safe and sound.

No other AI tool gives you this. Your workflow runs in the client you already love, your account stays protected, and you decide what the agent can and cannot do. It is the whole reason to make the switch.

Each Connector lives inside our infrastructure, the same place where your workflow runs. The three things below are already part of it, working quietly in the background so you never have to think about them. Nothing to add, nothing to set up, nothing to worry about.

V8 Isolate01

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed environment.

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed V8 runtime — no access to your files, your system, or other servers. A Connector never sees past its own request.

Kill Switch02

One switch stops every agent. Instantly.

One action deactivates every Connector, revokes every token, and ends every session at once. AI Governance keeps the record.

FinOps per User03

Spending limits that pause instead of surprise.

Every user keeps their own connections and credentials, isolated from everyone else. Anything that would cross your spending limit is held for your approval, not billed.

Three controls, built into the layer your AI connects through.

One connector, every AI

Open-Meteo + OpenStreetMap works with the most popular AI clients.

These are the most popular clients, each with a step-by-step guide: one link, set up once, with governance and visibility built in. And because everything runs on the MCP standard, the same connection also works in any other compatible client — nothing to rebuild.

Building your own app? The connector is yours to use.

You don't need a client to put Open-Meteo + OpenStreetMap to work: the same hosted connection plugs into your own applications and agent code, with the same governance on every request. Build with it, chat with it — one connection for both.

Preview access · not provider authentication

The vk_preview_* token belongs to Vinkius preview infrastructure. It lets Claude discover and display the capabilities of Open-Meteo + OpenStreetMap, so you can see the experience inside your AI.

It does not authenticate your account with Open-Meteo + OpenStreetMap. Actions requiring credentials or live account data may not run until you activate the Connector and authorize the service.

FAQ

Questions Open-Meteo + OpenStreetMap owners ask.

  • 01

Where does the air quality data come from?

The air quality data is sourced from Open-Meteo to ensure you get reliable PM2.5, PM10, and other pollutant metrics.

  • 02

Can I find parks near my specific location?

Yes, the park_inventory capability allows you to filter green spaces by name or by their proximity to a specific coordinate.

  • 03

How far back does the climate data go?

The seasonal_climate capability provides monthly climate normals based on ERA5 data ranging from 1940 to 2025.

  • 04

Does this work with Claude or Cursor?

Yes, this MCP works with any MCP-compatible client including Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf.

  • 05

Can I get a weather forecast for more than a week?

The weather_forecast capability provides daily forecasts for up to 16 days.

  • 06

Do I need an API key?

No. Every source is keyless and global: OpenStreetMap (Overpass + Nominatim), Open-Meteo and Russian Wikipedia. The MCP defines no credentials.

  • 07

    Whose air-quality numbers are these?

Open-Meteo’s air-quality API (a CAMS/forecast blend) for the coordinate you pass. It is not the city’s own monitoring network. that portal is not openly reachable from outside Russia.

  • 08

How far back can the climate data go?

The ERA5 reanalysis covers 1940 to 2025. Pass year to summarise any of them; the default is 2025, the last complete year.

  • 09

Can I search parks near a point?

Pass lat + lon (and optionally km, 0.1–25) and the query narrows to a radius instead of the whole city. Use it before a long list. a citywide scan is heavy and capped at 200 rows.
