    Why Mustache instead of Handlebars or EJS?

    Mustache has a universal spec. the same template renders identically in JS, Python, Go, Ruby, Rust, and 30+ languages. Handlebars and EJS are JavaScript-only. If your pipeline spans multiple languages, Mustache is the only portable choice.

    Is it safe to render user-provided templates?

    Yes. Mustache is logic-less. templates can only insert data, never execute code. There's no eval(), no function calls, no file access. Intrinsically safe by design.

    Can it iterate over lists and arrays?

    Yes. Mustache sections ({{#items}}...{{/items}}) iterate over arrays automatically. Each item's properties are accessible inside the section.
