Your AI does the work. We keep it safe and sound.

No other AI tool gives you this. Your workflow runs in the client you already love, your account stays protected, and you decide what the agent can and cannot do. It is the whole reason to make the switch.

Each Connector lives inside our infrastructure, the same place where your workflow runs. The three things below are already part of it, working quietly in the background so you never have to think about them. Nothing to add, nothing to set up, nothing to worry about.

A futuristic MCP client docking bay
V8 Isolate01

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed environment.

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed V8 runtime — no access to your files, your system, or other servers. A Connector never sees past its own request.

Kill Switch02

One switch stops every agent. Instantly.

One action deactivates every Connector, revokes every token, and ends every session at once. AI Governance keeps the record.

FinOps per User03

Spending limits that pause instead of surprise.

Every user keeps their own connections and credentials, isolated from everyone else. Anything that would cross your spending limit is held for your approval, not billed.

Three controls, built into the layer your AI connects through.

One connector, every AI

Paris Open Data works with the most popular AI clients.

These are the most popular clients, each with a step-by-step guide: one link, set up once, with governance and visibility built in. And because everything runs on the MCP standard, the same connection also works in any other compatible client — nothing to rebuild.

Building your own app? The connector is yours to use.

You don't need a client to put Paris Open Data to work: the same hosted connection plugs into your own applications and agent code, with the same governance on every request. Build with it, chat with it — one connection for both.

FAQ

Questions Paris Open Data owners ask.

  • 01

What years of data are included in this MCP?

The dataset includes voted subventions from 2013 through 2026.

  • 02

Can I find a specific grant if I have the file number?

Yes, use the grant_lookup capability with the numero_de_dossier to get specific details on a single grant.

  • 03

How do I find the largest grants in Paris?

You can use the big_grants capability and specify a minimum amount to filter for the highest values.

  • 04

Does this MCP provide association SIRET numbers?

Yes, the grant records include the SIRET numbers for the beneficiary associations.

  • 05

Is this data updated in real time?

The data is pulled from the Paris open data platform, reflecting the records available there.

  • 06

Do I need an API key?

No. opendata.paris.fr serves all city datasets anonymously over its Opendatasoft REST API. This MCP defines no credentials and needs nothing configured.

  • 07

What do the direction codes mean?

Each grant is issued by a city department identified by a code: DDCT (culture, the largest with ~25,000 files), DAC, DJS (sport, ~12,000), DASES, DAE, DASCO, DFPE, DPSP... grants_overview lists the top directions by count so you can discover the codes.

  • 08

    What grant types exist?

Five stored values: Fonctionnement (operations), Projet, Investissement, Non précisée and Indéterminée. The nature filter is an exact match on the stored text, accents included.

  • 09

Does a 0 amount mean nothing was paid?

montant_vote is the voted amount and the source data contains rows where it is 0. Use a min_amount filter (big_grants, or the same filter on list_grants) to keep only positive grants.
