    Can the agent read incoming SMS replies with this?

    No. This MCP utilizes the REST API strictly for creating new messages. It does not configure or expose incoming webhooks, meaning it acts strictly as a one-way notification megaphone. It cannot see your replies.

    Do I need a paid Twilio account?

    You can use a Twilio Trial account, but trial accounts can only send SMS to pre-verified phone numbers. To send SMS to any number, you must upgrade your Twilio account.
