Short answer
How can I debug and deploy bots through my AI?
Your agent pulls conversation logs to find errors and pushes updated bot versions to production. You get a direct loop for testing and releasing updates through your existing chat interface.
The results of a connected loop.
Where your bot management lands.
Managing your bots becomes a conversation instead of a manual configuration task.
DEBUG
Identify conversation errors
Your agent looks through past logs to find where a bot went wrong. You get the exact context needed to fix logic gaps.
UPDATE
Push new versions
Once you fix a bug, tell your agent to deploy the update. The new version goes live immediately.
CLEANUP
Reset test sessions
Wipe out old chat histories to start fresh testing. This keeps your debug logs clean and relevant.
HUMAN
Manual oversight needed
You still decide when a bot is ready for the public. The AI handles the technical execution, but you own the final release decision.
The workflow
What your AI does when the request arrives.
The agent acts as the bridge between your chat interface and the Coze backend.
Audit existing bots
The agent pulls a list of all your active bots to identify which one needs attention.
list_botsAnalyze failures
The agent digs into specific chat logs to see exactly how a user interacted with the bot.
get_conversation_historyClear test data
To prevent old data from skewing new tests, the agent wipes the specific conversation history.
clear_conversationDeploy updates
After you verify the fix, the agent pushes the updated bot version to the live environment.

How the Coze MCP behaves
- 01
Can the AI delete my entire bot account?
No. The AI can only list, publish, or clear conversation data. It cannot delete the bots themselves.
- 02
Can the AI change my bot's prompt settings?
No. The tools allow for publishing versions and managing history, but they do not include tools to edit the underlying bot configuration or prompts.
- 03
Will the AI publish a bot without me asking?
No. The agent only executes a publish command when you explicitly tell it to.
- 04
Can I see the logs from other users?
Yes, the agent can access conversation history for the bots you manage to help you debug.
- 05
Does the AI handle the actual code of the bot?
No. The AI manages the lifecycle and deployment via the Coze interface, but it doesn't write or edit the bot's internal logic.
