How to download executed documents with your AI

Connect eSign to your AI client once. After that, you can pull signed files just by asking.

Ask AI about this page

Short answer

How can I get my signed eSign documents using AI?

Your AI finds finished signature flows and downloads the resulting files for you. You'll see exactly how it handles the search and retrieval below.

Where your files land.

The results of your request.

The AI moves data from eSign to your local environment.

LOCAL

Files on your computer

The AI saves the signed PDF directly to your machine. You get the actual document, not just a link to it.

CHAT

Data in your conversation

Your agent can read the metadata from the flows. This lets you ask questions about who signed what and when.

HUMAN

Manual intervention

If a flow is still pending, the AI can't download a completed document. You'll have to check the eSign dashboard for those.

STORAGE

Ready for other apps

Once the AI pulls the files, you can tell it to move them to a specific folder or another service you use.

The workflow

What your AI does when the request arrives.

The AI handles the searching and fetching so you don't have to log in to a dashboard.

  1. Find flows

The AI scans your eSign account to find all signature processes, including finished ones.

    list_sign_flows
  2. Filter results

It looks through the list to find the specific completed agreement you asked for.

    list_sign_flows
  3. Get file

The AI pulls the signed document using the specific flow ID.

    download_docs
  4. Save locally
