Short answer
How can I audit my feature flag environment using AI?
Your AI uses Flipt to pull a real-time snapshot of your namespaces, flags, and active tokens. It then compares this data against your intended state to find misconfigurations. You get a clear view of your environment's current health.
Audit outcomes.
Where your findings land.
The AI processes your environment data into these specific results.
STATE
Current config snapshot
The AI pulls all active flags and namespaces. You get a clean list of what is actually running in production.
SECURITY
Token audit
Your agent checks existing authentication tokens. This helps you spot old or unnecessary access points.
DRIFT
Configuration drift
The AI identifies where your live flags don't match your documentation. It highlights the exact discrepancies.
HUMAN
Manual remediation
The AI flags the issues, but you decide which flags to toggle or which tokens to revoke. You maintain full control over changes.
The workflow
What your AI does when the audit starts.
The AI moves through your Flipt environment to build a complete picture of your setup.
Map the environment
The AI identifies all logical groupings within your Flipt instance to establish context.
list_namespacesInventory all flags
It pulls a full list of every feature flag currently defined in your namespaces.
list_flagsCheck access points
The agent retrieves all active authentication tokens to verify who or what can access your flags.
list_tokensReport discrepancies
The AI compares the gathered data to find missing flags or suspicious tokens. It presents these findings for your review.

How this task behaves
- 01
Can the AI change my flag states?
No. This MCP only provides read access to list namespaces, flags, and tokens. You must change flag states manually in Flipt.
- 02
Can the AI delete authentication tokens?
No. The AI can only list existing tokens to help you audit them. It cannot delete or modify tokens.
- 03
How does the AI know which flags are active?
It uses the list_flags tool to see the current configuration of every flag in your namespaces.
- 04
Does this work with any MCP-compatible client?
Yes. Once connected via Vinkius, you can use this with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or VS Code.
- 05
Can I audit specific namespaces only?
Yes. You can ask the AI to focus its inspection on a single namespace using the list_namespaces capability.
