How to trigger manual site crawls with your AI

Connect Fluxguard once, then use your agent to command real-time site inspections. You get instant feedback on whether your latest changes broke anything.

Ask AI about this page

Short answer

How can I make my AI crawl a site right now?

You tell your agent to run a crawl on a specific URL. The AI uses Fluxguard to trigger the scan and then reports back on the site's current state. You'll see exactly what changed or what broke immediately after the scan finishes.

Scan outcomes.

Where your scan results land.

The AI handles the heavy lifting of the crawl, then hands you the specific outcomes.

INTEGRITY

Site health status

The AI checks the site against its previous state. You get a clear report on whether the layout or content remains intact.

ERRORS

Broken element alerts

The agent identifies broken links or missing assets. It flags these issues so you can fix them before users notice.

DIFFS

Visual change logs

The AI compares the new crawl to the last one. You see exactly which pixels or text strings moved or disappeared.

HUMAN

Manual fix required

If the AI finds a critical failure, it stops and alerts you. You decide whether to roll back the update or push a hotfix.

The workflow

What your AI does when you request a crawl.

The agent moves from your command to a finished report using these specific steps.

  1. Receive command

Your agent receives your instruction to inspect a specific web address.

    initiate_crawl
  2. Execute scan

The AI triggers the Fluxguard engine to visit the URL and map the page.

    initiate_crawl
  3. Fetch data

Once the scan is complete, the agent pulls the latest site information to analyze it.

    get_site
  4. Report findings

The agent compares the new data to known baselines and tells you what changed.

    get_site

FAQ

How the crawler behaves

  • 01

Can the AI fix the broken elements it finds?

No. The AI can identify and report errors, but you must manually apply any code or content fixes to your site.

  • 02

Does the AI automatically schedule daily crawls?

No. This specific task is for manual, on-demand crawls triggered by your direct commands.

  • 03

Can I crawl sites that require a login?

The AI can only crawl what the provided tools allow it to access. If the tool cannot bypass a login, the crawl will fail.

  • 04

Will the AI delete any files on my server?

No. The tools only allow the AI to read site data and initiate scans. It has no capability to delete or modify your files.

  • 05

How does the AI know if a change is a bug or an intentional update?

The AI reports what changed. You have to tell the agent if a change was expected so it can update its understanding of the site.
