Short answer
How can I control my Goldsky pipelines with AI?
You can use your AI to list, pause, resume, or restart any active data pipelines. This gives you direct control over your indexing workflows through simple text commands. You'll see exactly how the AI handles these requests below.
Pipeline states.
Control your data streams.
Your AI translates your text commands into direct actions on your Goldsky pipelines.
INVENTORY
See active pipelines
The AI pulls a list of your current data streams. You'll know exactly which pipelines are running or idle.
HALT
Stop data ingestion
You can freeze a specific stream instantly. This stops data processing for that pipeline immediately.
RECOVERY
Resume or restart
The AI can bring paused streams back online or trigger a full reset. You decide when a pipeline should pick up where it left off.
HUMAN
Manual code changes
The AI cannot edit your subgraph logic or change your data schemas. You must handle all code-level modifications yourself.
The workflow
What your AI does when <the thing arrives>.
Your AI acts as the bridge between your chat interface and the Goldsky indexing engine.
Identify streams
The AI checks your account to find the specific pipelines you want to manage.
list_pipelinesPause execution
When you ask to stop a stream, the AI sends the command to halt that specific pipeline.
pause_pipelineResume work
You can tell the AI to restart a paused stream so it continues indexing.
resume_pipelineReset pipeline
If a stream needs a clean start, the AI triggers a full restart of the pipeline.

How the task behaves
- 01
Can the AI delete my pipelines?
No. The AI can only pause, resume, or restart existing pipelines.
- 02
Can the AI change my subgraph code?
No. The AI manages the lifecycle of the data streams, but it cannot modify your code or schemas.
- 03
How does the AI know which pipeline to pause?
The AI uses the specific names or IDs you provide in your chat command.
- 04
Can I create new pipelines with the AI?
No. The current tools only allow you to manage existing pipelines.
- 05
Does the AI handle the actual data indexing?
No. Goldsky performs the indexing; the AI simply sends the control commands.
