Short answer
How can I log crew hours using my AI?
Just tell your AI how many hours a crew worked and which project they were on. It uses the Gripr connection to write those hours directly into your labor records. You'll see exactly how the data moves through the following breakdown.
Where the data lands.
Labor record outcomes.
Your chat messages turn into these specific project updates.
LOGGED
New labor entries
The AI writes the hours you report straight into your project logs. You get updated records without manual data entry.
VIEWED
Current hour totals
Ask your agent for a summary of recent work. It pulls the latest entries so you can check progress.
HUMAN
Manual verification
The AI only records what you tell it. You still need to confirm the crew's actual time on site.
AUDIT
Labor history
You can pull a full list of registered hours. This gives you a clear view of project spend and crew activity.

How the labor logging behaves
- 01
Can the AI delete labor hours if I make a mistake?
No. The AI can only register new hours or list existing ones. You must handle deletions manually in your main system.
- 02
Does the AI automatically know when a crew finishes a job?
No. The AI only knows what you tell it in the chat. You have to prompt it to record the hours.
- 03
Can I use this with Claude or Cursor?
Yes. Any MCP-compatible client will work once you connect Gripr through Vinkius.
- 04
Can the AI change project names or crew assignments?
No. The tools only allow for registering hours and listing them. It cannot modify your existing project structure.
- 05
Will the AI record hours if I just mention them in passing?
The AI will only register hours if you explicitly ask it to record or log them.
