Short answer
How can I manage my noise monitoring hardware with AI?
Your AI uses the NoiseMeters API to pull a list of all your registered instruments and check if your sensors are online. This gives you a real-time view of your fleet's connectivity. You'll see exactly which devices are active and which ones are offline.

Where your data lands.
Your AI handles the technical heavy lifting of fleet management.
INVENTORY
Full device list
The AI pulls a complete list of every registered instrument. You get a clean overview of your entire hardware setup.
STATUS
Connection checks
Your agent verifies if sensors are actually communicating. It identifies which units are connected or offline.
AUDIT
Fleet health report
The AI compares your registered list against current connection statuses. You'll know exactly where your coverage gaps are.
HUMAN
Manual troubleshooting
The AI identifies offline sensors but cannot fix hardware faults. You'll need to physically inspect or reset any disconnected units.
The workflow
What your AI does when you ask for a status update.
The AI interacts directly with your hardware via the API to gather real-time data.
Identify hardware
The AI scans your account to find every registered noise monitoring device.
list_noise_instrumentsVerify connectivity
The agent checks the API to see if the sensors are responding.
check_api_statusDetect outages
By comparing the instrument list to the API status, the AI finds disconnected sensors.

How the NoiseMeters API works
- 01
Can the AI fix a sensor that is offline?
No. The AI can only report that a sensor is offline. You must physically troubleshoot the hardware yourself.
- 02
Can I add new instruments through the AI?
No. This connector is for inventorying and checking status. It does not have tools to register or add new hardware.
- 03
How often does the AI check the connection status?
The AI only checks the status when you specifically ask it to via a prompt.
- 04
Does the AI see my raw noise data?
No. This specific connector only accesses instrument registration and connection status, not the actual acoustic measurements.
- 05
Can the AI delete an instrument from my account?
No. The AI can list and check your instruments, but it cannot modify or delete your hardware registration.
