Short answer
How can I make word clouds and diagrams with my AI?
Your AI client uses QuickChart to generate image URLs for word clouds and GraphViz diagrams. You provide the text or the data, and the AI returns a link to the rendered visual.
Visual outcomes.
What you get from your data.
The AI handles the rendering logic so you can focus on the content.
VISUALS
Instant image links
The AI generates direct URLs for word clouds and diagrams. You get a link you can view or embed immediately.
TEXT
Word cloud generation
The AI extracts frequent terms from your text to build a visual cloud. You receive a URL containing the rendered image.
STRUCTURE
Diagram rendering
The AI converts structural data into GraphViz formats. It returns a link to the resulting diagram.
HUMAN
Manual design work
The AI creates the initial render. You'll need to use a separate design tool if you want to change specific colors or fonts.
The workflow
What your AI does when the data arrives.
The AI acts as the bridge between your raw input and the QuickChart rendering engine.
Analyze text
The AI reads your text to identify the most important terms and their frequency.
get_wordcloud_urlGenerate word cloud
The AI sends the term data to the tool to produce a unique image URL.
get_wordcloud_urlParse structure
The AI interprets your data or logic into the specific format required for GraphViz.
get_graphviz_urlRender diagrams
The AI requests a diagram URL based on the structured data it just organized.

How the QuickChart MCP behaves.
- 01
Can the AI edit the images it creates?
No. The AI generates a URL for a static image. If you want to change colors or fonts, you have to ask the AI to generate a new URL with different parameters.
- 02
Can I upload a file to make a diagram?
The AI can process text you paste into the chat. It cannot directly read an image file to turn it into a diagram.
- 03
Does the AI save the images?
No. The AI provides a URL. Once that URL expires or the session ends, the AI does not host the image files itself.
- 04
Can the AI create 3D charts?
No. This specific MCP is limited to word clouds and GraphViz diagrams.
- 05
Will the AI change my original data?
No. The AI only reads your data to generate the visual URL. It does not modify your source files or documents.
