Your AI does the work. We keep it safe and sound.

No other AI tool gives you this. Your workflow runs in the client you already love, your account stays protected, and you decide what the agent can and cannot do. It is the whole reason to make the switch.

Each Connector lives inside our infrastructure, the same place where your workflow runs. The three things below are already part of it, working quietly in the background so you never have to think about them. Nothing to add, nothing to set up, nothing to worry about.

V8 Isolate01

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed environment.

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed V8 runtime — no access to your files, your system, or other servers. A Connector never sees past its own request.

Kill Switch02

One switch stops every agent. Instantly.

One action deactivates every Connector, revokes every token, and ends every session at once. AI Governance keeps the record.

FinOps per User03

Spending limits that pause instead of surprise.

Every user keeps their own connections and credentials, isolated from everyone else. Anything that would cross your spending limit is held for your approval, not billed.

Three controls, built into the layer your AI connects through.

Real work

What teams actually run

01

User Onboarding

When a user signs up, the agent dispatches an event. This triggers separate services for account creation, welcome email sending, and initial profile setup.

02

File Processing Pipeline

A user uploads a file. The agent sends a 'FileUploaded' event, which then triggers services for virus scanning, metadata extraction, and storage indexing.

03

Scheduled Audits

To start a daily compliance check, the agent sends an 'AuditStarted' event, initiating a long-running, multi-step audit workflow.

04

Payment Confirmation

After a payment gateway confirms a transaction, the agent sends a 'PaymentProcessed' event, triggering inventory updates and customer notification services.

Automate a task

Put Amazon EventBridge Bus to work on one thing.

Step-by-step automations your AI runs through this Connector: the workflow, the prompts to start with, and the exact capabilities behind each move.

One connector, every AI

Amazon EventBridge Bus works with the most popular AI clients.

These are the most popular clients, each with a step-by-step guide: one link, set up once, with governance and visibility built in. And because everything runs on the MCP standard, the same connection also works in any other compatible client — nothing to rebuild.

Building your own app? The connector is yours to use.

You don't need a client to put Amazon EventBridge Bus to work: the same hosted connection plugs into your own applications and agent code, with the same governance on every request. Build with it, chat with it — one connection for both.

Preview access · not provider authentication

The vk_preview_* token belongs to Vinkius preview infrastructure. It lets Claude discover and display the capabilities of Amazon EventBridge Bus, so you can see the experience inside your AI.

It does not authenticate your account with Amazon EventBridge Bus. Actions requiring credentials or live account data may not run until you activate the Connector and authorize the service.

Who it's for

Built for the work Amazon EventBridge Bus owners hand off.

This MCP is essential for developers and architects building complex, reliable systems. If your application relies on multiple services talking to each other, this connector allows your AI agent to act as the central nervous system, signaling state changes securely. It's for anyone who needs to move beyond simple API calls and manage true event-driven orchestration.

  • 01

    Solutions Architect

Designs the overall system flow and uses the MCP to enforce secure, scoped communication between microservices.

  • 02

    DevOps Engineer

Uses the MCP to automate the triggering of deployment pipelines or scheduled maintenance tasks via event payloads.

  • 03

    Backend Developer

Integrates the MCP into application logic, allowing the AI agent to signal successful resource creation or data updates.

FAQ

Questions Amazon EventBridge Bus owners ask.

  • 01

What is the security benefit of using this MCP?

The main benefit is scoped access. Instead of granting broad AWS permissions, this MCP limits your agent's ability to only dispatch events to one specific, configured EventBridge Bus. This greatly reduces the potential security risk.

  • 02

What kind of data can I send in an event?

You send custom JSON events. These events must specify a Source and a DetailType, and they carry the actual data payload that downstream services will use to execute their logic.

  • 03

Is this MCP for simple API calls?

No. This is for event-driven architecture. It's designed to signal state changes across multiple, decoupled services, which is more complex than a single API request.

  • 04

What happens after I send the event?

The EventBridge Bus receives the event and routes it. Downstream services, such as AWS Lambda functions or Step Functions, are configured to listen for that specific event and then execute their defined workflows.

  • 05

Do I need to know the receiving services?

No. Because the bus handles the routing, your agent only needs to know the event details. It doesn't need to know how many services are listening or what those services do.

  • 06

Why limit the agent to a single bus?

To enforce zero-trust security. An autonomous agent shouldn't be able to inject events into arbitrary event buses across your organization.

  • 07

Can the agent receive events with this capability?

No. EventBridge is designed for routing. To receive events back to an agent, you should route the EventBridge Rule to an SQS Queue and use the Amazon SQS Queue MCP.

  • 08

    What is the 'default' bus?

Every AWS account has a 'default' event bus. If you haven't created a custom bus, you can simply type 'default' during configuration.
