Your AI does the work. We keep it safe and sound.

No other AI tool gives you this. Your workflow runs in the client you already love, your account stays protected, and you decide what the agent can and cannot do. It is the whole reason to make the switch.

Each Connector lives inside our infrastructure, the same place where your workflow runs. The three things below are already part of it, working quietly in the background so you never have to think about them. Nothing to add, nothing to set up, nothing to worry about.

V8 Isolate01

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed environment.

Each Connector runs inside its own sealed V8 runtime — no access to your files, your system, or other servers. A Connector never sees past its own request.

Kill Switch02

One switch stops every agent. Instantly.

One action deactivates every Connector, revokes every token, and ends every session at once. AI Governance keeps the record.

FinOps per User03

Spending limits that pause instead of surprise.

Every user keeps their own connections and credentials, isolated from everyone else. Anything that would cross your spending limit is held for your approval, not billed.

Three controls, built into the layer your AI connects through.

Curated set · 3 capabilities

We ship only the actions that matter.

Capability set01 / 01

01-03

3 capabilities in this set.

Part of 3 available through Amazon SQS Queue.

  1. 01

    Receive messages

Use this capability to pull messages from the SQS queue. It retrieves pending tasks, allowing your agent to see what needs processing.

  2. 02

    Delete message

Call this capability after a task is successfully processed. It removes the message from the queue, preventing it from being processed again.

  3. 03

    Send message

Send this capability when your agent needs to queue a new task. It adds a message payload to the end of the SQS queue for later processing.

Real work

What teams actually run

01

Image Processing Pipeline

When a user uploads a photo, the system sends a message to the queue. Your agent pulls the message, resizes the image, and then deletes the message upon success.

02

Batch Report Generation

Instead of timing out, the system queues report requests. Your agent pulls the request, generates the file, and then deletes the message.

03

Email Notification Workflow

The application sends a message detailing who needs an alert. Your agent pulls the message, sends the email via another capability, and then deletes the message.

04

Microservice Communication

One service needs to trigger another. It uses the MCP to send a message to the queue, and the receiving service's agent pulls and acts on that message.

Automate a task

Put Amazon SQS Queue to work on one thing.

Step-by-step automations your AI runs through this Connector: the workflow, the prompts to start with, and the exact capabilities behind each move.

One connector, every AI

Amazon SQS Queue works with the most popular AI clients.

These are the most popular clients, each with a step-by-step guide: one link, set up once, with governance and visibility built in. And because everything runs on the MCP standard, the same connection also works in any other compatible client — nothing to rebuild.

Building your own app? The connector is yours to use.

You don't need a client to put Amazon SQS Queue to work: the same hosted connection plugs into your own applications and agent code, with the same governance on every request. Build with it, chat with it — one connection for both.

Preview access · not provider authentication

The vk_preview_* token belongs to Vinkius preview infrastructure. It lets Claude discover and display the capabilities of Amazon SQS Queue, so you can see the experience inside your AI.

It does not authenticate your account with Amazon SQS Queue. Actions requiring credentials or live account data may not run until you activate the Connector and authorize the service.

Who it's for

Built for the work Amazon SQS Queue owners hand off.

Backend engineers and DevOps teams use this MCP when they need to build reliable, asynchronous processing pipelines. If your application handles tasks that don't need an immediate user response—like generating reports or resizing images—this connector provides the secure, contained access you need. It lets your AI agent act as a dedicated, single-purpose worker.

  • 01

    Backend Engineer

Builds the core logic for handling background jobs and task state management.

  • 02

    DevOps Engineer

Manages the deployment and scaling of worker services that consume queues.

  • 03

    System Architect

Designs the overall flow of data, ensuring tasks are processed reliably and sequentially.

FAQ

Questions Amazon SQS Queue owners ask.

  • 01

Is this MCP safe to use for production workloads?

Yes. The MCP is designed for absolute containment. It strictly scopes your agent's permissions to one specific queue, meaning it cannot interact with other AWS services or queues, keeping your worker isolated and secure.

  • 02

What if I need to process tasks from multiple queues?

This MCP is designed for single-queue access. If you need to manage multiple queues, you would need to connect to a different, dedicated MCP for each queue.

  • 03

Does this MCP only read from the queue?

No. While it excels at reading tasks, you can also use the capability to send new messages back into the queue, creating a full task lifecycle.

  • 04

How does the system ensure a message is processed only once?

The MCP uses native SQS polling and deletion mechanisms. When you delete a message, it is permanently removed from the queue, ensuring no duplication of work.

  • 05

Why limit the agent to a single queue?

To enforce the principle of least privilege and zero-trust architecture. An autonomous agent shouldn't have the power to read or delete messages from critical system queues.

  • 06

Can I process messages automatically with this?

This server gives the agent the capabilities to pull (ReceiveMessage). The agent itself must decide when to call this capability, or be orchestrated by a cyclic prompt to continuously poll the queue.

  • 07

    What is the ReceiptHandle?

It's a unique token returned when you receive a message. You must provide this exact token to the delete_message capability to successfully remove the message from the queue.
