    How do I connect my DISCO account?

    You need your DISCO API Key and Organization ID. You must also add the Vinkius egress IP to your DISCO organization's allowlist to permit the connection.

    Which AI clients can I use with this MCP?

    You can use any MCP-compatible client, such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or VS Code.

    Can I filter my dataset searches?

    Yes, the list_datasets capability includes an optional search parameter to filter matters by name.

    DISCO enforces IP allowlisting, so you must explicitly permit the MCP's egress IP in your organization settings.

    Log in to your DISCO account, navigate to Organization Settings → API, and copy your API Key and Organization ID. Both are required on every request (sent as the disco-api-key and organization-id headers).

    Why are my requests returning 403 Access Denied?

    DISCO enforces CIDR block (IP allowlisting) verification per organization. You must add the MCP's egress IP address as a trusted source in Organization Settings → API, or every request will be rejected with 403 regardless of key correctness.

    Can the agent download legal documents?

    No. The public DISCO API is read-only and exposes dataset, data-usage-change, and review-metric endpoints. not document content or downloads. Managing document content is done via the DISCO platform itself.
