How to trigger and monitor load tests with your AI

Connect BlazeMeter to your AI client once. From there, you can run performance tests and check results using plain text.

Ask AI about this page

Short answer

How can I run BlazeMeter tests through my AI?

You can trigger new performance executions and pull throughput data by asking your AI client. This lets you manage your testing lifecycle without opening a browser. You'll get direct access to test status and metrics through your chat interface.

Test outcomes.

Where your data lands.

Your AI handles the execution and data retrieval.

EXECUTION

Trigger new runs

The AI starts specific performance scenarios. You get confirmation as soon as the test begins.

MONITORING

Watch throughput

Ask for updates on how your system handles the load. Your AI pulls the latest metrics from the active run.

ANALYSIS

Pull test reports

Get summaries of completed runs. The AI fetches the data so you can review performance trends.

HUMAN

Review and decide

The AI provides the raw data and status. You decide if the results meet your requirements or if you need to change something.

The workflow

What your AI does when the command arrives.

Your AI translates your requests into BlazeMeter actions.

  1. Start the run

When you ask to begin a performance test, the AI initiates the scenario you've defined.

    start_test
  2. Check status

If you ask about a running test, the AI looks up the current state of that execution.

    get_test
  3. Fetch metrics

The AI pulls throughput and performance data from the active or completed test.

    get_report
  4. Summarize results

The AI looks at the data from a completed run to give you a clear picture of the performance.

FAQ

How the BlazeMeter MCP behaves.

  • 01

Can the AI create new test scripts?

No. The AI can only trigger existing tests or pull data from tests that are already configured in BlazeMeter.

  • 02

Can I change test parameters while it's running?

No. The AI can start, check, or report on tests, but it cannot modify the configuration of a test that is currently in progress.

  • 03

Does the AI need me to stay in the chat?

No. Once you tell the AI to start a test, it handles the execution in the background. You can check back whenever you want.

  • 04

Can the AI delete my test results?

No. The AI only has permissions to read data and trigger executions. It cannot delete any data or tests from your account.

  • 05

How do I see the actual graphs?

The AI provides the data and text summaries. You will still need to use the BlazeMeter dashboard if you want to view the visual charts.
