Short answer
How can I check my fleet status with AI?
Your AI uses Dashdoc tools to pull live lists of your trucks, trailers, and drivers. You can ask for specific availability or driver assignments in plain English. This gives you a real-time view of your entire operation through a chat window.

How the Dashdoc Connector works
- 01
Can the AI assign a driver to a truck?
No. The AI can only read and report the current assignments from Dashdoc. You must perform the actual assignment in your dispatch software.
- 02
Can I update truck maintenance logs through the chat?
No. This Connector is limited to reading fleet, trailer, and driver lists. It cannot write or change data in Dashdoc.
- 03
Does this work with any AI client?
It works with any MCP-compatible client like Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
- 04
How often is the data updated?
The AI pulls live data from Dashdoc every time you ask a question, so you are seeing the most recent status available in your account.
- 05
Can I see GPS locations for my trailers?
The AI can list your trailers and their status, but it only provides the specific details available through the list tools.
