What happens after you connect
The AI handles the file management so you don't have to log into a separate dashboard.
SYNC
Fresh context
The AI adds new documents to the knowledge base. Your bot immediately starts using this new information to answer questions.
AUDIT
View existing files
Your agent pulls a list of everything currently in the knowledge base. This helps you see what the bot knows.
MANAGE
Keep data current
You can identify which documents are outdated. This ensures the bot doesn't rely on old or wrong information.
HUMAN

How the knowledge update works
- 01
Can the AI delete documents from my knowledge base?
No. This MCP only allows the AI to list and create documents. You must delete files through the GPTBots dashboard.
- 02
Can I update an existing document?
No. You can only create new documents. To change an old one, you'll need to manage the files in your GPTBots account.
- 03
Does the AI see the content of every file?
The AI can see the list of files and the content you specifically ask it to create or process.
- 04
Can I use this to change the bot's system prompt?
No. This tool is strictly for managing the knowledge base documents, not the core bot instructions.
- 05
Will the bot know about the new file immediately?
Yes. Once the creation tool confirms the document is added, the bot uses that context for future queries.
