How the recording task behaves

    Can the AI record a participant who has their camera turned off?

    No. The AI can only record active tracks. If a participant has no video or audio track active, there is nothing to capture.

    Does the AI decide when to stop a recording?

    The AI only stops a recording when you explicitly tell it to or if the session ends. It does not automatically stop based on time unless you instruct it to.

    Can the AI delete recorded files from my storage?

    No. This MCP only manages the egress process. It cannot access or delete files once they are saved to your storage provider.

    Can the AI record a website that requires a login?

    No. The web egress tool captures a URL. It cannot navigate through authentication screens or handle user logins.

    Can I see a list of all ongoing recordings?

    Yes. You can ask the AI to list all active egress tasks to see what is currently being captured.
