Short answer
How can I use my AI to manage LoadNinja tests?
You tell your AI which scenario to start, and it uses LoadNinja to launch the browser-based load test. If you see performance degrading, you tell the AI to stop the run to save resources. This gives you direct control over the testing lifecycle through chat.

Direct control over your tests.
What happens when your AI interacts with LoadNinja.
ACTIVE
Running scenarios
The AI starts the specific browser-based test you requested. You get immediate confirmation that the load is being applied.
HALTED
Emergency stops
If the site slows down or errors spike, the AI kills the test run instantly. This prevents unnecessary load on your infrastructure.
MONITORED
Performance oversight
Your AI watches the test progress. You can ask for status updates while the load is being applied to your target.
HUMAN
Manual intervention
The AI cannot write the actual test scripts or design the test logic. You still handle the core test engineering and scenario creation.
The workflow
What your AI does when <the thing arrives>.
The AI acts as the bridge between your natural language commands and the LoadNinja execution engine.
Triggering tests
When you ask to start a specific test, the AI identifies the right scenario and kicks off the execution.
run_scenarioMonitoring status
The AI tracks the active test to ensure it is running as expected.
run_scenarioStopping runs
If you notice a performance dip, the AI sends the command to terminate the current load immediately.
stop_test_runManaging lifecycle
The AI handles the transition from starting a test to cleaning up a failed or finished run.

How the testing task behaves
- 01
Can the AI create new test scenarios for me?
No. The AI can only run or stop scenarios that you have already created in LoadNinja.
- 02
Will the AI automatically stop a test if it sees high latency?
Only if you tell it to. You must instruct the AI to monitor performance and stop the run if certain conditions are met.
- 03
Can the AI delete my test data?
No. The available tools only allow for running and stopping tests, not deleting data or configurations.
- 04
Does the AI handle the browser rendering?
Yes, the AI triggers the LoadNinja engine which handles the real-browser execution.
- 05
Can I use this with any AI client?
Yes, as long as the client is MCP-compatible, like Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
