    Can the AI pull money from a bank account by itself?

    No. The AI only creates the mandate. The customer must manually approve the request in their banking app.

    No. The current tools only allow for creating mandates. You must handle cancellations through your own billing system.

    Does the AI need my bank login credentials?

    No. You connect the MCP once, and your agent uses the provided tools to interact with TrueLayer securely.

    What happens if the customer's bank doesn't support VRP?

    The AI will report that it cannot create the mandate. You'll have to find an alternative payment method for that customer.
