Short answer
How can I schedule API tasks using my AI?
You tell your agent when and where to send a request, and it uses Zeplo to handle the timing. You'll get recurring CRON jobs or one-off delayed calls without writing code. Here is how it works.
Task outcomes
Where your requests land.
Your AI translates your intent into specific Zeplo actions.
RECURRING
Timed CRON jobs
The AI sets up repeating tasks that run at specific intervals. You get a reliable heartbeat for your data pulls.
DELAYED
One-off delays
Tell your AI to trigger a request after a certain amount of time. It handles the wait so you don't have to.
ACTIVE
Live request queue
The AI pushes requests into the Zeplo queue. You can track what's pending or what has already finished.
MANUAL
Human oversight
The AI won't change existing schedules or delete your history without you asking. You stay in control of the logic.
The workflow
What your AI does when a request arrives.
Your agent acts as the bridge between your chat and the Zeplo API.
Parse the timing
Your AI reads your request to figure out if you want a one-time delay or a repeating CRON pattern.
create_scheduleQueue the call
The agent sends the HTTP request details to the Zeplo queue to be executed later.
enqueue_requestCheck status
If you ask what's running, the AI pulls the current list of active schedules.
list_schedulesConfirm setup
The AI verifies the schedule was created successfully and tells you it's ready.

How this task behaves.
- 01
Can the AI delete a schedule I already made?
No. The AI can only create, list, or enqueue requests. You must manage deletions through the Zeplo dashboard.
- 02
Can I change the timing of a schedule after it's set?
No. The AI can only create new schedules. To change a timing, you'll need to create a new one.
- 03
Does the AI see my API keys?
No. Your keys are handled by the Zeplo connection, not the AI agent.
- 04
Can the AI run a request immediately?
Yes, you can use the enqueue tool to trigger a request without a long delay.
- 05
How does the AI know if a scheduled task failed?
The AI can list schedules, but it doesn't automatically monitor the success or failure of the HTTP response itself.
