  You subscribe to the MCP through Vinkius and then connect your client, such as Claude or Cursor, with a single click. Vinkius handles the hosting and management.

  You will need to enter your Codemagic API Token to authorize your agent to perform actions on your behalf.

  Yes, this MCP works with any MCP-compatible client, including Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I create public links for my app builds?

  Yes, you can use the capability to create temporary public download URLs for artifacts so stakeholders can access them easily.

  Is it possible to stop a build that is already running?

  Yes, you can tell your agent to cancel a specific build to stop it from consuming resources.

  Can I trigger a build for a specific branch or tag using the AI?

  Yes! Use the start_build capability and provide the appId, workflowId, and either the branch or tag name. You can even specify the instanceType if you need a specific build machine.

  How do I share a build artifact with someone who doesn't have a Codemagic account?

  You can use the create_public_artifact_url capability. Provide the artifact path and a UNIX timestamp for expires_at. The agent will generate a temporary public link for you.

  Absolutely. The add_variables_to_group capability allows you to add variables to a group. By setting the secure parameter to true, your variables will be encrypted as secrets in Codemagic.
