  How do I connect this MCP to my AI client?

  You connect once through Vinkius. Once connected, the DottedSign capabilities will be available in any MCP-compatible client you use, such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.

  Can I create documents from existing templates?

  Yes. You can use the create_task_from_template capability to start a new signing task using your pre-saved DottedSign templates.

  Is it possible to see who has signed a document?

  Yes. You can use the retrieve_task capability to see the status of a task or the get_audit_trail capability to see the full history of the signing process.

  Do I need to manage my own API credentials?

  No. Vinkius hosts the MCP and manages the credentials for you, so you can start using the capabilities immediately after connecting.

  Yes. The cancel_task capability allows your agent to stop any active signing task.
