  What AI clients can I use with this MCP?

  You can use any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Do I need to use the ThinkingData dashboard?

  No. While you can still use the dashboard, this MCP allows you to perform queries, audit users, and track events directly through your AI agent.

  Can I update user data through my agent?

  Yes. You can use the set_user_properties capability to update user profiles for specific distinct IDs.

  Is this MCP hosted by Vinkius?

  Yes. Vinkius hosts and manages the MCP, handles your credentials, and ensures it stays running so you only have to connect once.

  What information do I need to connect?

  You will need your TA Project APPID, Data Token, Query Secret, and your specific API URL.

  How do I find my TA Project APPID and Tokens?

  Log in to your ThinkingAnalytics Console, go to [Project Management] -> [Project Info] to find your APPID and Data Token. The Query Secret is usually found in the [Account Management] or [API Management] section.

  What is the 'distinctId'?

  The distinctId is the unique identifier for a user in your system (e.g., a device ID or an account ID). It is used to tie events and properties to a specific individual profile in ThinkingAnalytics.

  Can I perform complex data analysis through the agent?

  Yes! Use the query_events capability with a JSON query definition. Your agent will fetch the raw or aggregated results from TA, allowing you to audit behavioral patterns using natural language reasoning over the returned data.
