    What exactly does the ADX measure?

    The Average Directional Index (ADX) measures the strength of a trend, not the direction. A high ADX means the trend is strong, while a low ADX suggests the market is moving sideways or consolidating.

    No. Before you run any calculation, you can use the validate_price_data capability. It checks your price arrays to make sure they meet the structural criteria needed for accurate indicator results.
