  How do I connect BugHerd to my AI client?

  You connect the BugHerd MCP through Vinkius. Once you add your BugHerd API key to the Vinkius credentials page, your AI client can immediately start using the capabilities.

  Which AI clients can I use with this MCP?

  You can use any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I change the priority of a bug through my agent?

  Yes. The update_task capability allows your agent to change the priority, status, description, or assignee of any task.

  Do I need to manually create tasks in the BugHerd web app?

  No. You can use the create_task capability to log new bugs directly through your AI agent.

  Is my BugHerd API key secure?

  Yes. Vinkius manages your credentials securely so your agent can perform actions on your behalf without exposing your keys.

  Can the AI Agent resolve or close a task automatically?

  Yes, using the update_task capability, the agent can change the task status to 'closed' or 'done' within BugHerd.

  Are attachments or screenshots supported?

  Currently, the MCP Server manages text-based tasks, comments, and project structures. Adding direct screenshot files via AI is not supported in this version.

  Can I read comments from any ticket?

  Yes! The agent can fetch and read all comments attached to a specific task using the list_comments capability, provided you supply the Project ID and Task ID.
