  How do I connect my SurveyMonkey account?

  You need to provide a long-lived OAuth 2.0 access token. You can generate this by following the SurveyMonkey authorization flow and pasting the resulting token into the MCP credentials in Vinkius.

  Can I use this with a personal SurveyMonkey plan?

  Some capabilities, like get_organization, are restricted to enterprise accounts. Other capabilities like webhooks and contact imports work on standard paid plans.

  What is the difference between this and the standard SurveyMonkey MCP?

  The standard MCP focuses on creating and managing surveys, pages, and questions. This MCP is for operations, focusing on webhooks, contact CRM, organization data, and response trends.

  How many contacts can I import at once?

  The bulk_import_contacts capability handles up to approximately 100 contacts per individual call.

  How do I know if I am hitting API rate limits?

  The MCP uses the official API, which returns rate limit information in the X-Ratelimit headers. You can also use the get_me_and_account capability to check your current limits.

  How do I get the access token?

  Register an app at developer.surveymonkey.com, then run the OAuth authorization-code flow: authorize URL (api.surveymonkey.com/oauth/authorize) → 5-minute code → exchange at POST api.surveymonkey.com/oauth/token (client_id, client_secret, code, redirect_uri, grant_type=authorization_code). The returned access token is long-lived. paste it into this MCP's credentials.

  The published surveymonkey-mcp covers survey/page/question/collector/response CRUD. This MCP is the operations layer with zero overlap: webhooks (real-time push), contacts + bulk import, organization info, survey trends and users/me.
