Preview access · not provider authentication
The vk_preview_* token belongs to Vinkius preview infrastructure. It lets Claude discover and display the capabilities of Hookdeck, so you can see the experience inside your AI.
It does not authenticate your account with Hookdeck. Actions requiring credentials or live account data may not run until you activate the Connector and authorize the service.

FAQ
Questions Hookdeck owners ask.
- 01
How can I temporarily stop webhooks from being delivered to a destination?
You can use the pause_connection capability with the specific Connection ID. This will halt event routing until you call unpause_connection.
- 02
Can I see how many active sources I have configured?
Yes, use the count_sources capability to get the total number of sources, or list_sources to see the details of each one.
- 03
Is it possible to update connection rules through the AI?
Absolutely. Use the update_connection capability by providing the Connection ID and a JSON body containing the new configuration rules.
