  How do I connect BugHerd to my AI client?

  You connect the BugHerd MCP via Vinkius. Once you add your BugHerd API key to your Vinkius credentials, you can use it in any MCP-compatible client like Cursor or Claude.

  You can use this MCP with any compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I update existing tasks through the AI?

  Yes. You can use the update capability to change a task's description, status, priority, or the person it is assigned to.

  Do I need to manually enter my API key every time?

  No. You enter your BugHerd API key once in the Vinkius credentials page, and Vinkius manages the connection for you.

  Can my agent see all the users in my BugHerd account?

  Yes, the MCP includes a capability specifically to list all users within your BugHerd workspace.

  Can the AI Agent resolve or close a task automatically?

  Yes, using the update_task capability, the agent can change the task status to 'closed' or 'done' within BugHerd.

  Are attachments or screenshots supported?

  Currently, the MCP Server manages text-based tasks, comments, and project structures. Adding direct screenshot files via AI is not supported in this version.

  Can I read comments from any ticket?

  Yes! The agent can fetch and read all comments attached to a specific task using the list_comments capability, provided you supply the Project ID and Task ID.

  Can I update the status of a bug using the agent?

  Yes! Use the update_task capability with the Project ID and Task ID. You can change the status (e.g., 'To Do', 'Doing', 'Done') or priority directly from your workspace.

  How do I see the feedback queue for a specific project?

  Simply ask the agent to list_feedback and provide the Project ID. It will retrieve all the tasks currently in the Feedback column, allowing you to triage them using natural language.

  Does the integration allow creating a new project?

  Yes. Use the create_project action and provide the project name and optionally a development URL. The project will be created in your BugHerd organization instantly.
