  How do I connect my GatherContent account?

  You subscribe via Vinkius and then enter your GatherContent email and API Key, which you can find in your Personal Settings under the API section.

  You can use this MCP with any compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf.

  Yes, the update_content_item capability allows your agent to modify metadata and content for existing items.

  Vinkius manages the connection and credentials for you once you provide your initial API key.

  Yes, the agent can list project folders and projects to understand how your content is organized.

  Log in to your GatherContent account, click on your profile avatar, navigate to Personal Settings > API, and you can generate a new API Key there.

  You must use the exact email address associated with your GatherContent user account. This email is used as the username for Basic Authentication.
