  How do I connect my Prometheus instance?

  You subscribe to the MCP on Vinkius and enter your Prometheus Server URL and any required Auth Token. Once connected, your AI client can immediately start querying.

  You can use any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf.

  Can the agent delete data from my Prometheus instance?

  Yes, the agent can use the delete_series capability, but you must have the admin API enabled on your Prometheus server for this to work.

  Yes, the agent can evaluate both instant queries and range queries using standard PromQL expressions.
