  How do I connect this MCP to my AI client?

  You connect once through the Vinkius interface. Vinkius hosts the MCP and manages the connection, so you can immediately start using it in clients like Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.

  Do I need to provide my own API keys?

  Yes, you will need to provide your Recurly subdomain and Private API Key during the setup process to authorize the connection.

  Can the AI actually cancel a subscription?

  Yes, the MCP includes a capability to cancel subscriptions, but note that this specific action is irreversible.

  Is my billing data secure?

  Vinkius manages the credentials and hosting securely, ensuring your Recurly connection remains private and authenticated.

  What happens if I want to reactivate a user?

  You can simply ask your AI client to reactivate a subscription, and it will use the reactivate_subscription capability to restore the account.

  How do I find my Subdomain and API Key?

  Your subdomain is the first part of your Recurly portal URL (e.g., if you log in at myproject.recurly.com, your subdomain is myproject). To get your API Key, navigate inside Recurly to Integrations > API Credentials and generate or copy your 'Private API Key'.

  Can it accidentally charge my customers?

  While the server can manage subscriptions (e.g., setting up a customer with a plan), it strictly follows the billing logic predefined in your Recurly catalog settings. It doesn't bypass credit card validation or execute arbitrary charges directly without a plan context.

  Does cancelling a subscription remove the account entirely?

  No, using cancel_subscription stops future renewals for that specific plan item instance. The underlying user billing account remains intact and can hold other valid subscriptions or past invoices.
