  No. This MCP uses the native WordPress REST API, so no additional plugins are required on your site.

  Yes. This is a push-only capability scoped strictly to the Media Library. The agent cannot edit pages, delete plugins, or access your database.

  How do I authenticate the connection?

  You use a native WordPress Application Password to grant the MCP permission to upload files.

  Can the AI edit existing posts?

  No. This MCP is designed only for uploading media files to the library, not for modifying post content or site settings.

  Which AI clients can use this?

  Any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  No! This MCP strictly uses the POST method to create new media. It is completely blind to your existing media library and cannot delete or modify older files.
