  What happens when I use the rollback capability?

  The rollback capability is a destructive action. It reverts your entire project state to the exact moment the chosen checkpoint was created.

  What data is included in a checkpoint?

  Each checkpoint captures file hashes, git commit history, and environment variables to ensure the state is deterministic.

  Can I use this with Cursor or Windsurf?

  Yes, this MCP works with any MCP-compatible client, including Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  How do I see what my agent changed?

  You can use the compare_to_checkpoint capability to identify exactly which files have been modified, added, or deleted since your last snapshot.

  Is this just a wrapper for Git?

  No. While it uses git history, it also tracks file hashes and environment variables to provide a more complete snapshot of the workspace state.

  How do I see what changed since my last snapshot?

  You can use the compare_to_checkpoint capability with your specific checkpoint ID to see a detailed diff of added, modified, and deleted files.

  Is the rollback process destructive?

  Yes, rollback_to_checkpoint performs a git checkout to revert files to a previous state. Ensure you have committed any important work before rolling back.

  How many checkpoints can I keep?

  By default, the system keeps up to 10 checkpoints using a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) eviction strategy. You can adjust this limit using create_checkpoint with the maxCheckpoints parameter.
